A nice pinot that could be fading just a little - we will see how the last bottle shows in a few years. Dusty cherry fruit, a slightly oxidative note, and a spicy autumnal nose. Very good with pan seared picanha and ramp butter.

Similar to my bottle in 2015. Perfumed nose of stones, wet earth, cherry. Slightly more secondary than the Voillot Champans 2005. Palate is rich but thins out quickly. In a good a window but will continue to develop complexity.

This was a bit better than my last bottle. Wood seems more integrated. Still sweet fruit, which has a higher profile than last year. Rich black cherry, perfume, wet stones. Probably has many years left, but will watch this annually for development.

Needs an hour of slow ox to open up. High acid and medium tannins still, seems like it's just starting to wake up. Probably should be left alone another 3-4 years but should be pretty tasty when mature.

This was enjoyable but not outstanding. Not showing much complexity at this stage, but pure sweet fruit which I imagine will develop wonderful complexity in 5 years. Oak is not overpowering but dominates the flavor profile currently.
