  • rich gold color with slight blue tinging on the cork(and 3/4 stained)

nose: full nose of lemon peels, citrus, hot butter, smoke, minerals, and navel oranges. Really good evolved nose that gains weight with a bit of swirling and air

taste: nice medium full body with lemon peels, citrus, minerals, and navel oranges with nice medium+ acidity that backs it up

overall: okay, I was expecting a premox wine. Off the bat it was very golden colored, but has gotten lighter with a slight bit of air. This is drinking perfectly and while not an amazing wine, is a really good st aubin that is mature. Very good feel with a tinge of class to it, while being more on the full bodied side. Good acidity that provides a nice spine to the wine showing that this can last a bit longer, but certainly not like a major 1er crus
