  Was a old bottle brought to one of my WLIT parties in May 2009. Unopened, you could see it had turned auburn color. Figured it had turned, opened it for cooking purposes. It had turned into a very nice sherry--good enough for drinking. Not being a sherry fan, I gave it a taste and it was good. Gave some to my mother, more of an expert, she pronounced it very good.
  
  Nutty flavors, some caramel; surprising bright, fresh taste. Finish is nice.
