  • Quite controversial Aubin, took few hours to start loving it as at the beginning it was wild with scattered overly concentrated aromas and flavours, but after few hours it settled down and showed its true beauty. Complex aroma of leeches, apple skin, popcorn, flint, candied pineapple, banana, herbal and smoky nuances. Palate is concentrated and rich, with time becomes elegant and polished with soft texture, multilayered flavour profile with medium+ acidity and everlasting candied tropical fruit finish.

  • Terrific Saint-Aubin. Very rich upfront. Lacks the lenght and finesse on the end compared to the Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières from Glantenay drank alongside but nonetheless an excellent chardonnay.

  • This was something of a surprise and just bought one bottle to try. I have though enjoyed most St Aubin wines so far.
Light with a slight green hue in colour. Fresh on nose and palate with just a touch of oak but very much background. Some softer creamy elements with nice zest and lift.
This was great, priced well enough and very much one to have a few bottles of in the cellar.
