I stand by my previous tasting note from 7 years ago (except I take back the part about these lasting forever). Not as bright as in 2014, obviously, but insanely good qpr at $22 back in the day. Love these old Tuffeaux and Bournais.

I think I under-rated this last time around - it's really rather lovely. Less impact in my book than Huet's demi-secs, but it slips down a real treat. No rush to drink up, and I'm sorry not to have more than a few bottles left.

Beautifully aged, deep yellow, clean and balanced with hints of caramel & honey to go with lemon, aged lemon, mineral, soft citrus, pear, apple, lightest hints of yellow stone fruit. Perception of sweetness is more prevalent with the age, now 5 years after first bottle. Not especially deep or long but still delightful.

Clearly demi sec at 17 g/l. Really very good drinking, no rush.

Pretty oxidized. Too bad because I had another bottle a month or so ago and it was beautiful.
