  • bright orange amber in glass. White florals, talc, clean, freshly peeled mandarin. Small explosion of mandarins, sweet lemons, just slightly off-dry enough to accentuate the white pith characters. Impressions of honeysuckle and fresh beeswax on finish. Good acidity, but gives way to oily viscosity maybe from development. Layered, yet light. Clean, floating. Glows. Finishes with more sweet citrus (korean hallabong?) and streak bitter. Classy, unexpected, refreshing and juicy! Great place now, very interesting, and memorable. Thanks Mich! Went great with a tomato-based pasta (with mm-cubes of Geoff's homemade braseaola, slightly spiced with chili padi).

  • Spicy and full and exotic. Florals and pollen. Off dry. Really good on the palate - great grip and complexity. Lots of minerality and spiciness.

  • This has begun to dry out. Over the hill. Drink whatever you have left. Too bad because it was beautiful in its youth.

  • Aromas of orange blossom, lemongrass, lime, petrol, honey and creme brulee. Very harmonious at this point, nothing sticking out. Medium to full bodied, with strong acids tucked behind a hint of sweetness and tons of extract, an intriguing bitterness and a long, lingering, slightly thick finish. This needs more time in bottle, 2 or 3 years at least. Good for another 10 years. Good with chicken karaage. Not as refreshing or pure as some. More extracted, thicker and very good. A wine you want to take your time with. Decant.
