Reading my previous note and some of the other contributions, I felt like I should add a new note.
This wine is evolving gracefully. There is a definitely some tertiary notes coming through now, but for me the primary fruit is still present, and the secondary elements remain. The evolution is excellent and if you want to try a wine (shiraz) at 25 or 30 years of age, I reckon this will be a good candidate. That is what I am aiming for - the next bottle in 4 or 5 years.

Showing some sign of ageing some browning, great secondary flavours and aromas. Cola, earthy, ripe dark fruits, spicy, very little tannin. I think this is starting to pass its prime and it shouldn't be left much longer, some of its fruit seems to be slipping. Cheers

Earthy, leathery, smokey, gamey, graphite, plum, dusty front palate tannins, good acid line, great length. Definitely into secondary phase and better for it

Powerful wine without being too intense. More plum and blueberry, with some cedar, pencil lead and bay leaf. Acidity is still present, which with the savoury tannins makes me think this wine has room to improve. Give it 3 years to peak, and another decade plus to enjoy.
