Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys Auction; 3/13/2014-3/14/2014 (RN74 - San Francisco CA): Ultra ripe stone fruit with very good concentration, modest spice. Bit too fat, slightly short on acid, this was a very good glass of wine for consumption now or the next few years, but didn't come across as particularly "Chevalier-Montrachet" to me today.

Golden yellow, crystal clear. In the nose acacia blossoms, honey, very floral, fully ripened gooseberries, fine fruit acidity, toast, biscuit, butter, complex, very perfumed. On the palate soft, complex, well balanced, fine. Finish is endless. Impressive wine, fulfills the dreams of a burgundy lover. The wine is on it's peak, and may last another 1-2 years but drink now!. (93-95)

Dr Roland Leung's dinner with K1 parents (Amuse Bouche): decanted for an hour. lush, creamed minerals, dense yet pure. improved in glass through evening. very enjoyable.
