  Lovely on opening for a relatively 'budget' bourgogne rouge wine. Sweet fruit and good acid with very little sign of tiredness. Fourrier reds in general are extremely reliable and consistently high quality in this era. Wine was still excellent 2 days later after air evacuation resealing. Simply enjoyable and yummy are my tasting notes. Probably have just a few bottles left of this one (must do that cellar audit one day). Puts a smile on your face, especially considering the minor cost some 20 years ago. Bought on advice from Ross Duke, via his 'winebank' mailing list initiative of many years ago (sadly a thing of the past).
