Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • ($13) Touch of Brett opening up the nose. Slightly tawny rose in the glass. Barely translucent. Floral, leather, cherry, and earth. The tannins are smooth but persistent, giving an impression of cotton in the mouth. Floral perfume quality reminds me of soap. Day two it took on a slight raisined quality as well as becoming more obviously oaky. Not especially acidic until the finish.
