Bouquet of blackcurrants, berries, with green pepper tertiaries. Tasted riped plums, grape skin, eucalyptus, minerals, spices, wet forest floor. Nice long warm menthol finish. No edges. However, felt it needed more tannins for a push. Not as impressive as the 2009 and 2010. Open now.

Found it to have the weight and richness, with a tad bit of dark fruit, but dominated by more mature notes that just didn't hit me right. Decent at best and a far cry from the very solid 2003.

Popped and poured. A bit thin, probably attributable to the weak vintage. Nevertheless, a fine flavor profile of dark fruits in a recognizable St. Emillion style. Tasty dinner wine with the steaks on hand.

Was served this at a dinner party. Nice old-school St.Emilion. A little funk, brett maybe - not a fan, but wasn't too bad.

Solid St Emilion profile, but a little thin on structure. Not a great vintage and it showed.
