Luscious and warm, inviting. Bold dark fruits with anise and tobacco leaf. The finish lasts until tomorrow, but it’s a long, slow smooth ride to that ultimate end. Oodles of years left in this of course. In fact, I’m probably drinking it a bit early although it does well both right out of the bottle (with an atypical closure for the region). Glad I have more!

Flowers, licorice, espresso, smoke, herbs and ripe dark cherries permeate the perfume. Soft, polished, lusciously textured on the palate, the silky finish shares the stage with ripe plums, savory herbs, sweet cherries and a touch of coffee bean. Give this 2-3 years more age in the bottle and it will be showing even better.

Parker would call this hedonistic. This sucker is a monster - black fruit, chocolate and a mountain of tannin. Leave it rest for another 7-10 years for a more mature drinking window. Its the right stuff, just a little early to consider drinking even with a long decant.

Luscious, opulent, ripe, rich fruits are all over the place here. Accompanied by licorice, chocolate, smoke, plums, cherries and espresso. Hedonistically styled, concentrated, round and deep, this is still in the primary stage. A few more years in the cellar will add a lot to this beauty.

Amazing on first day. Evolved even more on next. Will try to save last two bottle for another year before opening.
