  • This might have been better in 2010 or so, but now the fruit has lost its vibrancy and the oak treatment cuts through in a somewhat unbalanced manner. The acidity is good and the aromas from wood treatment are nice, but it lacks the fruit component to balance it. The 2009 is drinking better, so this is a wine for the short haul.
