I don't know why I opened this--- it was doomed. 4 year old Sancerre tinned-asparagus nose, distant echoes of tropical fruits underneath the dry hay and tin. Tinned peach and lemon grass on the palate, medium bodied, the nervy acidity is about the only thing that remains from the wine this once was. Far from great through no fault of its own, this should've been drunk 3 years ago or left another ten years, undisturbed. My mistake
