  • My goodness this was spectacular. Last bottle in my cellar and wish I had bought more. Aged bottle characteristics of diesel or glycerine, wonderful mouth feel, sweetness modified by a long long clean finish. Mandarin, lychee, toasty notes candied peel, and still that lovely spritzy acidity that I associate with younger vintages

  • I'm not a big Reisling fan but this is one that even enjoyed. Very smooth and not too sweet. It has a nice apple flavor which is nice for this time of year.

  • Starts out with a beautiful, floral nose. This wine has a finish that just keeps on going and going for 30 seconds or more. Initially there is almost an orange marmalade taste with strong mineral hints. This transitions over time to a toasty finish. The wine also has great mouthfeel, with an almost glycerin like way it coats the tongue. Beautiful acidity for pairing with food.
I served this with a shrimpcake sauced with a lime-chili sauce and the combination was excellent.
