Nose: banana, cream, brioche, corn, coconut, caramel, butter Notes: Very creamy and full of sweet butter and caramel nose. This is am excellent white by all standards and perhaps is one of the more interesting Bouchards I've had. Very smooth and attractive. I have never been a big fan of Bourchard as I feel that this maker has screwed up most of its reds but I must give credit to its Montrachets and it usually would perform nicely and shows pretty good quality. With all the beautiful nose and palate this wine is well balanced and performing nicely. Should continue to perform for another 10 years but is decent to drink now. Drink: Now+ Rating: 92

Pronounced intensity with notes of white fruits, flora, butter, toast, honeysuckle. Long finish. High acidity and yet very well balanced. Drinking at its peak.

Fully mature, this is at its peak and ready to go. Deeply perfumed with peach and lemon, the palate is rounded and buttery and hedonistic. The finish is in perfect balance and is lengthy. It is a superlative Montrachet and I only wish I had more. 96+

Good to revisit this. Nose is not most opulent but it exhibits peach, honey, ripe yellow fruit and herbs. Palate is clearly Montrachet with its intensity and concentration, followed by a long finish. Excellent value in the context of a mature Monty.
