  Stemmy nose with some prune and spice and dark cherry. Creamy on the palate with good fruit and spice, decent structure and a tart off finish. Decent but not exceptional Red Burgundy. Nose - 4/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 3/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 12/20.

  The second of two tasted in a few weeks. Whereas the first was remembered mostly for a surprisingly harsh attack, the second lost this after 30 mins in the glass, yielding a supple,soft but persistent feminine red fruit with reasonable middle weight and tannic balance. Really holding up pretty well for a '92 "low end" CDC, hoping the second is the rule or maybe just give these more time once opened.
