  Hard to believe that this mature 1986 Merlot still had plenty of rich ripe fruits and displayed great harmony & structure. The wine was suprisingly smooth and well balanced by its mature fruits, the faint acidity still present, the delicate tannins, and its elegant finish.

  Tasting of 5 Pinot Noirs.
  Rich, fruity nose, great concentrated Merlot in the mouth, very smooth finish and aftertaste.
  My #1 of 5.
