Nose: Fresh cut wood, a little raw meat, black currants, red grapefruit. Mint, juniper, violet, black currant, red grapefruit, smooth tannins and just lovely on it’s own now! Wow!

Margot's. 100% Merlot. Big berry fruit, equally red and black, cocoa, coffee and some bramble. Very fresh at first but it aged and turned leathery in the glass. Drink now.

Lots of jammy dark/black fruit and some heat on the palate. There is structure here, but to me it is a bit too much fruit and too much alcohol making it a bit "in your face" without enough stuffing to back it up. A good effort but not great QPR.

Black fruit, dark cherries on the nose, under that lovely autumn forest notes. Showing a bit of age but not over the top. The palate show sour fruit, cherries, oak is prominent. Believe this is just about the right time to open this. Balanced.

Perfect balance and maturity. Rich and profound. Good by itself now. No need for food.
