  • Light-bodied and too sharp and sour for my liking.

  • Bright Ruby colored, medium bodied, expressive black berry and black cherry fruits with tones of leather, anise licorice and dark cocoa and herbs, medium plus acidity and medium plus tannins on a long finish. I agree with one review that wrote that this tastes more like a Sangiovese than a Merlot from the New World, or the Right Bank.

  • Clean medium ruby; clean medium minus nose of cassis, wood and cocoa; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter and follows nose; medium plus finish; drink now; uninspired wine for the price point - not sure if we missed the drinking window or maybe a bad bottle

  • Clear deep ruby with staining legs; clean medium plus nose of cassis, strawberries, leather, black licorice and cocoa; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of savoury herbs; long finish; drink now or within a few years; much better than our first bottle; might further improve but drinking really well now

  • Medium ruby in the glass. This Tuscan Merlot has a nose of black cherry. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with the same black cherry, as well as baking spices. The finish is acidic and the wine utterly forgettable. Honestly, it tastes more like a decent Sangiovese than a Merlot from the New World, or the Right Bank.
