No hint of browning. A little muted on nose, but not significantly changed from five years ago. Holding well, showing what Wa Merlot(I forget the proportions) can do
Shame I have only one more bottle of this vintage

Very dark purple/red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. Dense nose with deep dark fruits, blackberry, black raspberry, graphite, vanilla, a little herbaceous. The palate is concentrated and full bodied, glycerine, blackberry pie, boysenberry, black raspberry, graphite, vanilla, hints of tar. This was a little sharp on the finish, but overall very good. 53% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot. 90+pts.

Totally agree with 3daywinereview below with reference to day one tasting. Red/blue fruit is nicely balanced with acid and soft tannins. Tremendous QPR. Great to see such aging potential, but probably should drink up this year.

Day 1: This bottle is in fine form. Cigar, blueberries, earth, pencil lead and gravel. A fitting tribute to Right Bank wines. 92 points Day 2: Solid but not as good as day 1. Sour cherry, menthol, cigar and earth. 88 points Recommendation: This is a pop and pour and drink in the first hour. This is mature.

Popped and poured. Dark red fruits leap from the glass. Sweet dark fruit. Some cassis. Good balance. Somewhat flat on the back end. Not much on the finish and it fades fast.
