Ordered off the wine list at the restaurant in the Saint James Paris. Suggested by the somm. Clear dark ruby. Excellent nose of earth, cedar, and black cherry. Fruit-forward palate with cherry, strawberry, cola, and minerals. Very good length. Food-friendly acidity. Minimal tannins. My wife loved it. We have always enjoyed Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge. At its best, it is not meant to age, but is accessible in its youth.

Nose: Gunpowder, cedar wood, strawberry Flavor: Flint and gunpowder that quickly dissolves into cherries along with moderate tannic/fruit acidic bite. Very nice but not with a lot of depth.
