  Very disappointing as my last note from 4 years ago was very positive... Nose started out very attractive and classic Burgundian with violets, black cherry and minerals... Unfortunately the palate was lean and somewhat unbalanced with a short finish. Nothing horribly wrong, but just not a lot going on.

  Looking for the elusive everyday Burgundy and this may be it! Although $30 is certainly on the high side for anything remotely considered every day, it is hard to find anything anywhere near the range this good. Light ruby color, but great, classic Burgundian nose. Nice, medium bodied palate. Nice, well integrated tannins with a good finish... drinkable now... enjoy.

  A very good wine at the low end of the price spectrum for Burgundy. Good fruit and medium tannins which were integrated with small amount of nice oak. Not a showstopper, but a good wine with a rotisserie chicken.
