Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 86.5 points

  • Pretty lean stuff with a very lightweight colour, but over 2 hours this gains complexity and offers up some pretty decent stuff for £18. To put it into context for Pinot Noir, for the same price you could get a generic New Zealand wine that has no character and sweet fruit. Decent enough on a Sunday with roast chicken. Will age for 5 years I would guess. Okay, but nothing more.

  • Pale, wan, and featureless to start with. Over dinner, the cherry fruit deepened and a penetrating cherry methol perfume developed and it ended up very attractive.
