Breuer online Tasting with Theresa Breuer: Glass: Zalto Universal Online tasting. 100ml bottle filled from Magnum bought at release and perfectly stored. Drunk two and three days later. Clear, deep golden color. Maybe not a 100% perfect bottle. Nose with some cellar mold and oxidative notes. Dry. Medium+ acidity. On the palate with lots of ripe fruit, acacia, lots of fine crushed stones and some slightly oxidative notes. Fantastic balanced, very fine, round and lingering finish. This was certainly not a 100% bottle, but still at least 90-91 and a beautiful wine.

Breuer Schlossberg ve Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Breuer in Rüdesheim): not blind, double decanted for 6 hours flight with Nonnenberg 00 and Schloßberg and Nonnenberg 2006. The weakest flights. Winner was Nonne 2006 Ripe yellow peaches, I think overripe, a bit alcoholic and tired, some nuts but not precise in the finish. 90

Georg Breuer - Double vertical Schlossberg / Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim, Germany): Glass: Stölzle White All wines (except where noted otherwise) where double decanted about 7-10h before tasting. Deep golden color. Clean nose, a bit lactic, caramel, herbs. On the palate rather lean for a Schlossberg. High acidity, a bit unbalanced, nervous. Herbaceous, but also deep and with a nice pressure. Medium length. Drink up. 91-92

Light gold color. On the nose, slate, citrus and light petrol. On the palate this is dry with dominating notes of green apples as well as lemon, minerals and a great acidity. The finish is medium. This is a good wine but I'm somewhat expecting more, maybe I've been spoiled by this producer or maybe this is the vintage talking...

Yellow colour with green reflections. Lots of mineral on the somewhat closed, but slightly edgy nose, with leesy yeast, nettles and intense citrus fruit. After a while there's more of spices, peach and sweet pineapple, flintsmoke and "muschelkalk". Slight, but alert spritz in the beginning. Very concentrated citrus fruit with discrete green notes, and an impressive 45+ aftertaste.
