Very good indeed - and better on day 2. Nose of honey, herbs, butter. Mouth follows with citrus, minerality, smoke and some chewyness (bees wax); impeccable balance and lightness of being. Very elegant. This is a wine for meditation, just entering maturity. Wish I had more.

One of the best in the vertical line-up dating back to 1998. Complex with butter, brioche, peach and lemon pie on the nose. Palate is very fine with well defined precise fruit, kicking acidity combining both power and grace. Delicious.

(Joseph Drouhin Les Clos Vertical at Genius in Gastronomy) Great nose, layers of butter, brioche and dried nuts !! High acidity in this one, mineral, ripe fruits, medium concentration, medium to long lime aftertaste.

A Day at the Office (Crow's Nest): Fantastic Chablis. I think I tasted this at a pre-buy, but can't recall. Anyway. Gorgeous aromatics of crushed rocks, slightly floral, minerals, steel, and green apple with citrus zest. The palate is full of piercing acidity and freshness. Mostly citrus with minerals, and towards the finish is a streak of underlying richness and creaminess. I think over time this will flesh out and become a classic Chablis. Good juice.
