  • Healthy cork, good fill level. Medium to light gold color. Intense aromas of grilled hazelnuts, spicy pears, apricots, vanilla, with light minerality-- nice complexity. Medium to full bodied, almost an oily character, with grilled nuts, sweet pears, honey, and a squirt of fresh lemon. Adequate acidity, full flavored, perhaps a little diffuse, and slightly maderized. A tasty wine that lacks the bite, clarity and minerality/stony notes that I find typical in good Chablis. The minerals and spicy notes come out more in the long finish.
