Rockss and Fruit

(Le Gallais (Egon Muller) Wiltinger Braune Kupp Spatlese) It's always nice to have aged Egon Muller. Wonderfully complex nose of petrol, woodsmoke, leather, caraway seed, green apple skins and some delicate notes of melon, Wonderful nose that kept gaining in nuance by the minute. Palate was very elegant. It had almost a weightless feel with the texture and flavor of a green apple jolly rancher. The wine had crystalline purity. Glasslike. Beautiful wine. Still had at least 20 more years of life in it as the fruit had that beautiful fresh/aged thing going on. Would love to see where these will be in the years.
