  Starfruit pineapple and lemon on the nose, flavors are more citrus natured with lots of lemon and some orange in the background, excellent acidity with a long finish, very nice mouthfeel which I can only best characterize as glossy with tension. This is a fantastic wine.

  This was a fantastic Riesling, and even though it's considerably more expensive than others, it's a relative steal compared to Muller's Scharzhofberger. Great depth and precision with superb balance at only 8% Abv. Incisive acidity and multifaceted minerality yet open and inviting at the same time with a round mouthfeel. Endless joy from smelling the empty glass. Hasn't developed the "petrol" characteristic yet and it's clearly in it's drinking window. Tasted like a real Egon Muller wine.

  Very good. Electrifying balance of sweetness and acidity. Flowers and peach on the nose. Long, mouthcoating finish.

  A wonderful example of the 2015 vintage from this warmer site (by Saar standards). Great mouthful and density. It's rounder and more complete than 2014, showing more tropical fruit, but still with that iron mineral seam. Needs some time to unwind.

  @ Verward in Rotterdam. From 375ml bottle. Very subtle and refined with moutwatering aspects. Delicious treat on a Sunday afternoon...
