  Drinking well - even tannins, some pepper, silky texture, bright fruit finish.

  Very nice, seductive wine. Spicy aromas of black pepper, oak, and allspice, underlay a sappy boysenberry surface. Drank over the course of two hours, opened 1.5 hrs prior to drinking. The alcohol burn became a bit more noticeable towards the end of the bottle.

  Nice nose that hints at what is to come. Blueberry and mixed dark berries up front. Turns a little thin in the middle but finishes stronger. Decanted for an hour but an extra little time in the glass added to the experience. We have been to Lamborn and believe me, you cannot find a better visit in Napa. The folks are terrific and their wines fantastic. This a fine zin, that's for sure.
