Big, well balanced wine. Earthy and herbaceous with dark fruit. About and hour after opening still had firm tannins. Sorry this is my last bottle. Drinking well now but will likely continue to drink well for several years.

Decanted for about two hours, and even then needed more time in the glass. No formal notes taken, but it was quite good. Carried far more intensity than the last Zinfandel I had (Bedrock Old Vine) and had more of that 'mountain fruit' -- really quite excellent. Wish this wasn't my only bottle, since the tannins on the end clearly needed some more time to break down in the bottle.

I want to like the wine as much as I like Mike and Terry Lamborn, but this vintage just seems off compared to previous vintages I've had. I'm still a buyer though.

Very good wine. I am sorry it is our last bottle. Consistently better.

Well balanced and more elegant than previous vintage. Certainly benefits from time in the glass.
