Was a good wine, but continues to get older, fatter and less interesting every time I try a bottle. Used this one for cooking, since there is nothing wrong with it - not oxidized, just not interesting.

A bit ungainly and not the precision that I like in Chablis. Fine as a generic white wine, but not crisp or sea-like. Perhaps better with less or no battonage?

Every time I open a bottle of this wine, I am ready to be very disappointed. A Chablis AC that is 9 years old - really, how good could this be? But I am always pleasantly surprised. This bottle was very pleasant, a bit simple, but still nice flavors, no oxidation, fairly fresh. Not a lot of acidity, but enough to keep it interesting. We drank the whole bottle, always a good sign. No complaints.

Have had a few other bottles now, and although the flavors are pleasant and typical of Chablis, this is really getting too soft at this point. Not enough acidity to keep this interesting.

I opened this with some trepidation as I was afraid it might be getting a bit too old, but no worries there. This wine was wonderful. Great minerality, fragrant grapefruit and stoney flavors. Missing some of the backend bite I like in my Chablis, and somewhat creamier than classic, but overall a wonderful experience. No danger of this getting old anytime soon.
