Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 90 points

  • Opened and poured, this wine exceeded expectations and is drinking very well at this time. This wine has aged well. The aromatics show a mature mix of cherry, earth and floral notes that are subtle and balanced. The color is a medium ruby that is appropriate for the wines age. The medium bodied palate shows maturity, balance and subtle mix of soft tannins and fruit. The wines retains some youthfulness and is at or around its peak. There is enough in reserve for this wine to continue to drink well over the next two to five years.

  • Very good wine. On the light side for Burgundy, I like the Beaune-Greve area for easy drinking Burgs.
