This was a good bottle of Syrah. As noted in other reviews, not showy or flashy, just a good solid wine. Sampled over 3 hours day one, and again on day 2, not a great deal of change. I see this as ready to go, no rush but target my remaining for the short term.

Decanted for an hour plus, but it hasn’t changed from the small sip I poured upon opening. Typical violet/purple Syrah hue. Crushed berries, violets, blueberry jam and espresso on the nice. Great balance of acid, fruit and tannin. 15.2% alcohol isn’t evident. Dark fruits are the dominant flavor with hints of spice and something akin to orange peel. Not showy but very solid. For my palate it’s at peak and should stay there for a couple of years.

PnP and drinking just fine right out of the gate. Didn't show much evolution over the course of a few hours. Seems like it will hold on for a few more years just fine, but probably not much upside in doing so. Showing nice fruit with tertiary notes.

Loaded with dark berry, pepper and spice flavors. Plump and juicy all the way through, finishing with clove, cinnamon spice, leather and tobacco. Excellent. Has plenty of life left to enjoy for a few more years.

(Rasa Vineyards Occum's Razor Block 10 Syrah Seven Hills Vineyard Walla Walla Valley) A moderately aromatic but complex wine with bittersweet chocolate, floral notes, mineral notes, blueberry, and raspberry. The palate is plush and bold with ripe, focused fruit flavors while retaining a great deal of subtlety and sophistication. 100% Syrah. Aged in French oak (20% new). 15.2% alcohol. 88 cases produced. Sampled at 61 degrees.

A fabulously made wine, full bodied, medium tannins, great fruit, and a terrific nose.
