Full aromas with some matchstick, baked apple, spice and hazelnut. Round fruit that is lifted with good tension. Lots of toast still on the palate. Solid.

Château de Meursault Dinner (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Toasted hazelnut, mature apple, some lemon peel hints. Moderate weight and depth, this is good enough for near-term enjoyment, even if not quite at the level i'd expect from this vineyard in a good+ vintage.

Nice complex nose that developed over 1-2 hours. Nice balance on the rich side. Nice long finish. This wine had a lot of weight and matched best with rich courses. A bit difficult to recall this wine from the last time tasted (2 years ago) but still holding up very well. Not likely to improve further but at the moment an excellent mature Meursault.

one to have RIGHT NOW! delicious in its prime development stage and oh so good - classic cheesiness, acidity and a whiff of toasty oak - very moreish!
