  • Bouquet of toasty oak, black fruits, old leather and undergrowth. The oak is a touch too prominent in the beginning. Again no green notes here but the nose is dark. Nice acidity and soft blue fruits in the palate. Some earthy spices. The elegance of a Margaux is present here with time in the glass. Mid-palate is more open than what the nose suggests. Finish is a touch watery for me. Ready to drink now after an hour in the decanter. Don’t bother to keep any longer.
