  • Couleur : jaune or.

Longueur assez bonne.

    Note : 17,25/20 i.e. 94+/100

  • Winorama: A winter in Wineland III; 1/4/2019-1/13/2019 (Portland/Willamette, Eureka, Napa): Another white before we got to the red for dinner. I have less memory of this wine than some of the others from dinner. I think pretty nice chenin. Definitely more in the very dry style. Almost a bit puckering, but then so great with a bit of food.

  • Deep golden colour in the glass. Needs 20 minutes or so to breathe. Gorgeous vanilla aroma and lovely mineral palate with a creamy lingering taste. I love wines likes this with a good bit of bottle age. This was a one off bottle but will look for more and leave it in the cellar for a while.

  • Blind tasting for my guests. Nice golden autumn hue. Nose very sweat of pastry, baked apples. Mouth full, fizzing acidity, oxydised notes, creamy, and long after taste. Oak now perfectly integrated and gives the shy vanilla to pastry flavor. But the energy dominates the wine. Superb. Some people thought Jura,

  • Blind Tasting - 2010 Loire Chenin Blanc (Weygandt Wines - Washington, DC): Tasted Blind. Reserved nose of tart lemon and crushed sea shell. Focused on the palate with mixed bitter citrus and lemon hard candy. The medium-long, juicy finish adds tart peach, minerals, and white flowers. This needs a bit of time for the acidity to integrate, but should be very good in the future. R&M89
