  • 5th bottle of 6. Color is darker now (compared with previous tastings). Still very good, however, first bottles I liked more. Initial excitement has somewhere gone. Wine is much rounder now. May be I don't like mature whites?

  • I still love this wine. Especially the long aftertaste and smell of emptied glass 1 hour after drinking. Minor changes from previous tasting or probably my imagination only.

  • First, I must confess that this was my first white Burgundy. And was surprised because I could never imagine that Chardonnay can be so good. Opened 3 hours before but not decanted. Especially for this wine I bought Riedel Vinum Montrachet 416/97 glasses. Strong nose of dried apples made the first impression. Balanced, medium acidity, not very buttery - I expected more of this note. Yummy! One thing what I imagine to be developed after some years (I hope so) could be a nuance which I can't name otherwise as "Old Pale". Drinking this wine it is impossible not to think about apples. And I do not like young apple juice. I like it much more when it become slightly oxidized and brownish. The same thing happens with old Sauternes. And I hope that this process will touch in positive way this wine too.
