This wine is now 18 years old and still beautiful and elegant. The nose still shows some honey and lemon curd. The taste is intense with flavors of Meyer lemon and lemon curd. The color is a deep golden hue.

The color of this wine is a shimmering golden hue. The nose is abundant with scents of lemon, pear, kiwi and honey. The taste is getting somewhat tired as the acid resolves but is still delicious with flavors of minerally lemon, vanilla, pear and kiwi. There is just a hint of maderization. Drinkup over the next year.

San Diego WineSpectator.com Offline al tartufo, 1/18/2020 (Solare Restaurant, Liberty Station, Point Loma, San Diego CA): Clear yellow-gold color. Musty with faded notes of butterscotch, lemon, cider, toast. Off bottle perhaps?

Tasting, brief note. Advanced, perhaps a bit too structured for the level of fruit, but still enjoyable. Time to drink up.
