Nice enough Nebbiolo aromatics and flavors, but in the end, there’s not a ton of depth and complexity, and I’m not sure it warrants the cellar real estate it’s been occupying.

Showing some maturity in the colour, with a narrow band of brown/orange at the rim, and a claret-red core of pleasingly medium hue (no 'super-prestige' dense wine here).
The nose leads with cherry / cherry menthol but nicely showcasing the floral side of the dominant nebbiolo. Good complexity with tar/caramel/toffee a touch of herb supporting, but still mostly in the background.
The palate shows the cherry fruit much more dominant, and there is a lovely freshness without the acidity being in any way spiky. Decent length to the finish, but like the palate overall this isn't big/intense.
True to the regional style, and a good example for someone looking to dip a toe into the region.

I gave this bottle a chance to decant for 1+ hour and it definitely helped...ruby red color with strong level of tannins; aromas of ripe cherries, rich dark fruit and some slight level of plums; very dry, very smooth, integrated, clean, rich; with a long finish.

Slight brownish color, fairly translucent. Tart cherry flavors, which remain in your mouth as a nice long finish. Very enjoyable wine, and great QPR.

Decanted for ~ 1 hour; it definitely helped the dark fruit and ripe cherry flavors to develop.
