Light nose of terroir and minerality right from the uncorking. Smooth and blended, but disappointingly not complex. Light tannins and smooth finish. I seem to have over paid compared with other reviewers as it was $49 at Total Wine in Ft. Myers.

I think the tasters are being a bit harsh on this wine. No it is not Cheval Blanc or Pavie, but its pretty damn good. For $25 it is an outright steal. Nice dark fruit, layers of earth and tobacco. A little barnyard and stony minerality. Really lovely St Emillion. Would go great with food and is an excellent introduction to someone who has not had a lot of Bordeaux. Excellent.
