  Vinetasters: (mostly) 2010 Burgundy (Park Ridge, IL): Served double blind. Really nice acidity and fruit here -- crisp and bright, and very similar in profile to so many of the other wines, but this one seemed like it had an extra dimension of depth. Fresh fruit, elegance, and a coolness to the fruit that made it feel like this was a fair bit younger than most. My 1st, group's 2nd.

  my note from 2021 says it perfectly... this need more time, right now its not at all as friendly as many 2010's have been in the past, but the juice is there for sure (or as for sure as you can surmise), better on night two for sure (80% closed on night one)... funny -- the 2010's were so friendly and open's for so long (10-12 years) and now I find half of the 2010 bottles I open are a little more shut down... 92 for now, but feels like 1-2 pts of upside to come

  Vital flott frukt, litt heftig røykaktig eik, ganske tverr syre mot slutten. Matvin. 3 flasker, nokså liten variasjon.

  really beautiful, had over two nights and better on night two... I'm guessing this is just coming out of its sleep (felt a tiny bit shut) but it was already really nice with med+ plus body but also delicate with acidity, fruit was purple (ie not red not black)... classic 2010 and lovely... glad I have 16 more stowed away here and there

  Drinking very well after a double decant. Great balance, red fruits, a bit of tar, savory with a long and clean finish. Youthful, so plenty of time left, but entering a nice drinking window.
