On opening this could have been a little stewed, but a little air freshens it up well. Bricking around the rim. Medium light body. The nose is great, its feral and earthy, with ripe dark cherry fruit. Juicy black cherry fruit to start with, then the acid and tannins kick in, and those tannins keep building, there’s not really enough fruit to make the finish as good as the start, but it’s an very enjoyable mature NSG

Took to an offline in Greensboro. I really liked it and the host did also. Compared it to a 2004 Chevillon Roncieres that was opened the evening before and both were in a good drinking spot. While the Roncieres was from a very warm/hot year, it didn't seem overripe or stewed. Both wines lacked the brooding quality of some young Nuits St.Georges. Wish I had more of the Perrieres.

Wow, a fantastic bottle. Took a bit of time to open up but when it did it was just a beauty. Earthy with a killer minty note on the finish. Fabulous stuff.

Pretty closed right now, especially the first night. Gave off some hints of pretty cherry fruit, but mostly just hard tannins. Second night it opened up quite a bit and was decent, but I think this is shut down right now and would expect it to get much better.

This bottle (1 of 6) was a little oxidised. Hoping it was one off flawed bottle.
