Drinking very well, and surprisingly open for a 2010. The nose has red berry fruit, violets, and forest floor. Really hitting a nice sweet spot of classic burgundy profile. The palate is where this particularly shines though. The fruit density of the vintage, the balance of fruit with structural components, and the fine quality of the tannins speaks to the quality here. For a village level wine, it's got remarkable substance. Quite accessible now, but it is still quite young and I'm sure will reward further cellaring. Nice to be able to check on this now to leave the 1er crus from Bize in the cellar.

From the first sniff this was just beautiful. Darker red fruits and leafy sous-bois with a metric ton of soil. None of the spice I found on release, but a super satisfying Burgundy for those who love maturing flavors. For my preferences this appears to be approaching the peak, with a lovely blend of primary, secondary, and tertiary notes.

This will get better, but it's so good now, I'm using it to fed off even better wines. Pinot stink/Mushroom nose, silky body, crystalline red and dark fruit, medium-weight, still a touch of tannin on the finish. Cellared since original release.

Lovely, pure strawberry preserves; excellent definition. Round, smooth body. Cellared since original release.

Essentially the same as note from April of this year.
