Blood red. Raspberries in the bouquet. On the palate ripe cherries and a bit dusty. Firm amount of acidity and also yoghurt. Good concentration and certainly ok, but not really complex or refined.

Haven't tried Agiorgitiko before. Pleasantly surprised. First impression: Feels light and pleasantly aromatic but not overwhelming taste or aroma. Light berry, mainly Cherry and hint of oak and vanilla. High Tannins. Becomes even better after few sips. Cherry continues, very light and pleasant, Nutty flavours kick in. Cherry and Nut predominate. Extremely pleasant palate and nose. Cherry and Nut predominate, Vanilla and light oak follw. Pleasure to taste small sips. Excellent wine and perfectly priced, really outperforms other European wines of same price range and even more expensive!

Alternative Varieties Tasting: Muted aromatically. Lots of sweet red fruit on the palate, but too much acidity at the same time. Not well balanced.
