Nice light amber color. I can't place nose. Floral and spicy mix I can identify. Acidic throughout. Zesty. Start of lemon lime with a little burn. Comes late with straw thst has a medium linger. Not too shabby.

Overly-impressed with this Over-achiever. This, my last bottle...correction, final of my latest group (as I'm sure to buy more), had the brightest, zingy-est acidity, which is what I love about and expect from this wine. I'm not even going to elaborate aside from saying that its further proof of the QPR level of all the wines from this producer.

This was probably my third or fourth bottle of this wine. Discovered as the Summer was winding down and on the heels of my Riesling-jones, I was looking for something to segue into the Fall and stumbled upon this; figuring that the producer and locale would likely not disappoint. I was right! Just a tinge of sweetness, which could well have been the nice acidity. Either way, providing a freshness that is notable. Fitting as an aperitif, it holds up well to light to medium weight appetizers. The level of value that can be found up and down this producer's line is impressive (from this that can be found in the $8 range all the way up to their vineyard designates under both the Ch. St. Michelle and Columbia Crest labels).

Quiet nose. Mid-bodied, spritzy, with lots of salinity. Mineral-driven flavors of green apples, pears, stonefruit, quince, lemon-lime, wet rocks, and a touch of oak. Crunchy, minerally finish.

Light yellow, pale in color. Scents of citrus and hay. Tastes of citrus, hay and appropriate levels of acidity.
