This Chateau Ste. Michelle had a nice nose, if not typically Pinot Gris. The complex, floral perfumey nose created an expectation that wasn't met with the wine on the palate. Some sour apple and perhaps pear tastes were rather watery and imprecise. 50+5+11+14+6=86

Had at a retailer tasting. Pale straw in color and almost spritzy air bubbles at first. The nose was a bit funky with some pear. Palate showed pear and green apple with a nice acidity. A medium length-finish. So-so wine (preferred the 04 Airlie Pinot Gris for the price
