Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cranberry, strawberry, with blue fruit and saddle leather undertones. Palate: Medium bodied, cranberry and blueberry attack, acid driven mid-palate lift, ripe red fruit and earthiness dominate the back-end and dominate a mid-length finish. High toned and generally tasty - seems a bit overdone and simple. 88+

A well made wine, just not as much complexity as we were seeking tonight. Highly aromatic, fruit forward. More subdued on the palate. Tart red fruit, earth. Slightly watery on the palate. A tasty berserker day purchase.

Pinot night (Longplay, Ladd, Sineann, Patricia Green) (Jeff K's): Not sure what was going on here. One person had this as their WOTN. Pale ruby in color. The nose has cherries with a slight char note. Also a slight soapy/dusty quality. Very soft texture which is present in all of the wines and very interesting. On the palate, it turns slightly bitter with cherries. The bitterness is pronounced on the finish. Not sure what to make of this. Seems to be fading in the glass. It has many things I like and others that I don't.

Light garnet with ripe strawberry nose. Lightly tart strawberry fruit, nicely restrained with light fruit and body in the AFWE style with smooth tannins. Drinking very well on opening and quite enjoyable especially if you like the tart red berry style as well as I do. Picking up some body and fruit with a little open time, lovely balance with a touch of sweetness softening the acids up a bit.

A nice balance of smooth tannins, strawberry and vanilla notes with some earthy terroir to round it out during a medium length finish. A very respectable wine from a good vintage. Drinking well but likely will hold at least a year or two more.
