  Blind, brick rim, brown sugar, maderized notes. Dusty tannins and astringency are present. Barely any fruit. Not my style. Some will love this style and mention that wine needs to age longer, to me it’s past it’s prime. Perhaps a bad bottle?

  Drinking just brilliant right now. Has bricking edges and a lot of mature notes on the nose. Some surprising milk chocolate duds on the palate and good fruit still, smooth texture that ends in a great grippy finish that has soft edges if that metaphor makes sense. Fine freshness. Really like this.

  Quite dark and showing serious bricking. Strong tannins and good complexity but very little typicity...this reminds me more of a ripasso than a nebbiolo. The pruney and raisinated notes here are really low in the mix but I would't wait much longer to open this if this bottle is representative.

  Super concentrato e super maturo, grande intensità olfattiva, Chiaramente tostato. ciliegia nera, confettura di more e mirtilli, rosa da manuale, chiodi di garofano, cannella, anice stellato e altre spezie dolci ed esotiche. Caffè, cacao. Molto preciso, molto intenso, ma per niente banale nel suo essere un barbaresco fortemente caratterizzato dall'uso di legni piccoli. Tannini vellutati, e freschezza che si è attenuata con l'affinamento in bottiglia, a bilanciare una struttura veramente molto abbondante. Finale lungo sui toni fruttati e floreali con ritorni tostati.

  Kanske inte en järnnäve i en silkehandske med det kombinerar blommig skirhet och mostrig parfym i doften med hög syra och rätt tuffa tanniner och beska. Man vill ha mat till, gärna svamprisotto.

  Kant: 1 mm mot vattenklar.

  Färgar glaset? Nej.
  Gardiner: Rätt tunna.

  Korrekt? Ja.
  Doftintensitet: Medel –.
  Doft: Frukt - röda bär - hint av körsbär. Blommor - rosor, jasmin. Fat? - nysågat virke, fernissa och kanske lite tjära. Ålder - champinjoner.
  Utveckling: Moget, drick!

  Torrt/sött: Torrt.
  Syra: Hög.
  Tanniner: Fina men in your face.
  Alkohol: Viss halka (14 procent).
  Fyllighet: Medel.
  Smakstyrka: Medel +.
  Smak: Frukt - röda bär - jordgubbar, hallon. Fat - beska.
  Textur/balans/bubblighet: Nej.
  Eftersmak: Medel + med rätt stor stjälkbeska.
