Still young and supported by oak, but starting to show that this will be a beautiful wine in a couple of years. I can see why this is regarded as the top White from this Domaine.

Upon the first whiff, the nose is immediately distinguishable as a Chassagne. With lovely, fresh buttery, floral notes with a certain amount of minerality. On the palate, the acidity is still very much present and keeping the wine very fresh. Mouthfeel had decent heft provided from the oak and was quite thick and full. The fruits, mostly green and yellow fruits with zippy acidity. The transition from mid palate to finish was seamless. A very pleasant and enticing wine. One to look out for. A quintessential Chassagne Montrachet.

I completeky agree with Nicholas. Perfect balance between the buttery and the zesty flavours and tastes.

Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne - Des Maranges au Montrachet en passant par Santenay et Saint-Aubin (Château de Chassagne-Montrachet): Tasting. Slightly floral start and also fatter than others in this lineup. Showing the fresh acidity and supporting minerality that is making so many 2010s exciting today. I like this wine a lot, definitely worth seeking out.
